Several defendants received their punishment in Jones County Circuit Court for using illegal drugs or misusing the legal ones.

Michael Naylor was ordered to spend a year and a day in prison and two years post-release supervision after pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Laurel police officers who were checking Club Unique caught him holding .2 grams of cocaine in a plastic bag in February 2013, District Attorney Tony Buckley said. Naylor was represented by Jeannene Pacific.
