Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Camden Toy sadly dies after secret two-year cancer battle
Camden Toy, best known for playing the role of some of the renowned monsters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer has passed away aged 68.
The TV star’s death was reported by a friend on social media, and his partner Bethany Henderson revealed he was battling pancreatic cancer.

The star had been battling pancreatic cancer secretly for two years, his partner revealed.
“For many reasons we were very hopeful for, at least, a longer and more fruitful time on planet Earth,” Henderson said, in a post shared on Facebook.
She then went on to explain that Toy’s condition had “declined a lot in the last 2 months and tremendously in the last several days.
“He chose, for many reasons, not to announce his illness publicly, and so, unfortunately, this may be new and shocking news to many of his fans.
“We both apologize for this and please know that he has appreciated you all so much, as have I,” she concluded.
The star played some of the most iconic monsters in the hit TV drama, including Gnarl and the Ubervamp.
He also played the role of one of The Gentlemen, featured in the episode Hush which was nominated for an Emmy award.
Buffy star ‘never saw’ the actor’s ‘actual face’

Camden was such a hit on Buffy, that he was cast in the spin-off, Angel, playing a new character dubbed Prince of Lies.
Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played the main role in the show, once claimed she had never seen the actor’s actual face, because he was so often in prosthetics until she was shown a photo.
His other roles included The Bay, Average Joe, The Insider’s Guide to Film School, and his voice was used in Call of Duty: Vanguard.
