Olivia and Alex's relationship took a knock towards the end of Love Island when a lie detector challenge revealed that Alex did not see a future with the Essex beauty.

However it later became clear that the test was not 100% accurate, and with Alex and Olivia being the last pair to take the test they put the negative result down to stress, and decided to continue their blossoming relationship.

Olivia said in an interview with Reveal magazine: 'I’m not sure how truthful that was, or how much it actually worked.

'We’ve since been told that it wasn’t accurate, but at the time, we didn't know that. It felt real so it was difficult to handle at the time.'

After six weeks of flirting and passion, the eventual winners of ITV's Love Island 2016 were announced as Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde earlier this month.
