Martha Stewart openly admits to not wearing underwear, and we're just as shocked as you
Martha Stewart may be 82 years old, but she’s not shying away from speaking about her underwear, or lack thereof.
The lifestyle icon confessed she ‘doesn’t wear underwear’ during an appearance at the Old Bags Luncheon in West Palm Springs. She even shared her opinions on reality TV star, Kim Kardashian’s underwear, SKIMS. It’s not something we thought we’d be hearing celebrity Stewart talking about, but we’re here for it.
Martha Stewart doesn’t wear underwear – here’s what she wears instead
Instead of underwear, the 82-year-old opts for swimsuits under her clothes she tells Page Six, “just in case” she wants to go swimming.
“I like bathing suits. I like wearing bathing suits under my clothes just in case I want to go swimming,” she said, before announcing “bathing suits are my underwear.”
She then went on to explain how she doesn’t wear any of that structured stuff, including Kim Kardashian’s SKIMs, however, she had nothing but good words to say about the mogul’s line.
“I love Skims. I think they serve a very good purpose — but I don’t wear them. I only wear Aerie bathing suits under my clothes,” she revealed to the publication.
Martha even questioned whether Kim would be mad at her for the revelation, before figuring she ‘already knows’ she doesn’t wear SKIMs.
The businesswoman has a body to show off in swimsuits
It’s no wonder Martha is so keen on wearing swimsuits, as she has the body for it. In 2023, she became the oldest cover model on Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, something she was given just three months to prepare for.
The 82-year-old headed off to the Dominican Republic for the photoshoot and slayed every look. From a silver swimsuit to a plunging red number with a sarong.
During the shoot, the star told fans, “Being fearless is very good. Don’t be afraid of anything.”
Instagram went crazy for the pics at the time, as comments came flooding in for the swimsuit beauty. “GIRRRRRL, drop the recipe for THIS,” wrote one.
Another exclaimed: “You go girl , show them how we do it!”
