COHOES, NY (CelebrityAccess) — Park Playhouse, a New York-based performing arts organization, has signed a deal to take over operation of the historic Cohoes Music Hall.
The deal, which offically commences on August 1st, will see 375-capacity Cohoes Music Hall continue to present live musical performances as well as a slate of plays and musicals.
“We plan to continue to work with the area’s best promoters to make Cohoes Music Hall a destination for live music, stand-up comedy, films, family events and much more!

The family of dementia-suffering artist Peter Max have accused his court-appointed guardian of abuse, claiming she has forced him into 'involuntary isolation'.
German-born Max, 84, became an icon in the global art world in the 1960s. He now lives in New York City and has been under the care of court-appointed guardian Barbara Lissner for the last three years.

The inmate suspected of stabbing Larry Nassar in his prison cell said the disgraced former sports doctor provoked the attack by making a lewd comment while they were watching a Wimbledon tennis match.
Shane McMillan, 49, has been named as the inmate who attacked Nassar in his cell Sunday with a makeshift weapon at the United States Penitentiary Coleman in Florida.
Nassar, 59, was nearly killed after suffering multiple stab wounds in the neck, chest and back before four other inmates rushed in and pulled McMillan of the pedophile.
